Mount Buzhou was an ancient Chinese mythological mountain said to have supported the heavens. The album is based upon field-recordings of traditional Chinese music recorded in Chongqing and Kunming, China. The album combines shimmering ambient soundscapes with traditional Chinese music, post-rock, electronica and drone.
