Sänkt’ is a Swedish word with multiple implications, inimitable through direct translation into other languages. Meaning roughly ‘lowered’, it can for instance be used to refer to; reduction of volume, a boat having been sunk, feeling depressed or ill as in ‘I feel really sänkt’ and even having been struck down.
The duo focuses on improvisation with electronics upon various melancholy and gnarly drones, and this first release of theirs, ‘Svag’, was recorded live in the studio earlier this year.
