On this album, Sebastian Paul serves up a sublime blend of shimmering drones and dreamy field recording textures sourced from both rural and urban environments. The sights and atmospheres of Japan was a major source of inspiration. “I always gain a sense of hopefulness and peace whenever my mind dwells on the positive aspects of that country”, the artist explains. “Perchance Daydreams shall evoke in you the same sense of hopefulness and peace.”
