We’re proud to present the first in our B-O-D-I-E-S cassette series: the five track mini-album ‘Grey Temple Transmission’ by debutant Okkulte. A Brooklyn based artist that we found by chance while trawling Soundcloud. His fusion of industrial and techno immediately peaked our interest with its rawly potent posture and discretely layered harmonics.
Working with a rudimentary setup of reel to reels, tape echoes, spring reverbs and MPC gives it that magical humanity and imperfection that we all find so appealing even in the harshest landscapes of electronic music.
