Attempt No. 6 was a collaboration with Swedish artist Leif Elggren in 2016. Upon an invitation from curator Martin Hartung for Werkleitz Festival in Halle, I wanted to finally unite J. S. Bach with G. F. Händel! There are several stories about Bach trying to meet Händel, but never manages because of Händel’s travels. So our idea was to make them communicate thru EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). During the concert I played some Bach & Händel and improvised, together with Leif Elggren who played his invented electronic instruments and evoked their spirits thru a ritual.
